Clear Lake : A pretty simple 4wd trail will lead you to this lake above the trees with wildflowers galore and a lake that lives up to its name. I was able to spend an evening here photographing this area and camping. Even though I wasn't able to spend that much time at this lake, I was able to capture some great shots showcasing its brilliance.

 
 
   
This is probably my favorite columbine close up shot I have taken to date. It showcases the columbine in all its different stages and angles from early bloom to the flower at its peak.
 
   
A very simple shot but one I really like. The evening shadows and a nice strand of cloulds give this shot character.
 
   
Morning photography is always the best (and usually only) time to get reflection photos of this quality. Clear Lake is an amazing lake with dramatic scenery.
 
   
I think this is pretty obvious why this is my favorite shot of the area and actually one of my favorite shots of the summer to date.
