Lost Creek: This was my second visit to this very cool wilderness area close to the front range. The rock formations in lost creek rival those in Utah (my opinion only). We decided to visit a different area this time on the goose creek trail to an arch located up high in the valley. The lighting was horrible for photography but the area was magical. I'm pretty sure I will visit this area yet again in the future because there is still alot I want to photograph in this area.
This is one of the few shots I got in the bright sun that turned out halfway decent. I love the shadows of the aspen making this simple composition a worthwhile one.
A pretty cool photo of Harmonica Arch and our goal for this trip with the oncoming thundercloads.
One of the great things about Lost Creek is the sheer size of rock all throughout the wilderness. This slab of granite was easily over 100 ft. tall but you would never know it looking at this photo without seeing the aspen growing in the crack of the rock.
