North Halfmoon Lakes : Located in Mount Massive Wilderness, I had no idea what to expect. I certainly wasn't expecting the photographic opportunities that was presented. This is a very popular area because of the trailhead for a 14'er. The lake area though isn't as heavy traveled and offered a unique view of Mt. Massive as well as some beautiful sub alpine lakes and great cascading falls.

 
 
   
Flowing water shots continue to be one of my favorite photos to take. I am sure you can understand my reasoning when looking at this photo.
 
   
I don't know if this used to be a stream or what. Whatever the case, it lead to this pretty cool composition.
